Bind began in 2016, when my son was four years old and struggling with eczema. Prescribed ointments weren't helping, and it didn't feel right that he had to live like that — so I started making my own shea butter blend at home.

Bind began in 2016, born out of necessity. My son was four years old and living with eczema — the kind of raw, uncomfortable skin no toddler should have to endure. Watching him struggle with it while the prescribed ointments barely helped was heartbreaking, so I started making my own.
The shea butter blend I mixed at my kitchen counter was gentle, nourishing, and made with him in mind from the very first batch. Friends and family began asking for jars of their own, and the reaction was always the same: "I've never felt anything like it."
